Qualifications
- Open to college juniors and seniors pursuing a degree in communications, public relations or a related field.
- Must have previous related experience.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to present writing samples and references.
Position
Media Relations paid intern position with flexible scheduling. Expect to work approximately 15-20 hours per week.
- Assist with writing, proofreading and distributing press materials (press releases, media advisories, follow-up pitches, etc.)
- Assist with media pitching calls.
- Complete special projects and/or reports when assigned.
- Assist with client social media programs.
- Assist with the maintenance of media archives and clippings.
